Nice bulbs. Please, check the sizes carefully - they are rather bigBulbs at homedepot were just as good and much cheaper.I recently replaced all four of my Philips indoor halogens (70W 1320 lumens) for these Bioluz LEDs (14W 1250 lumens) for my office. These run on much less wattage and give off a lot less heat during the summer, but the advantages end there. Even though these are a bit less lumens, they give off a harsh glare that I'm not accustomed to as opposed to the smooth warm bright light from the halogens. I sometimes like to keep them dimmed around 25% of max, but these lights flicker the more they are dimmed, which is quite distracting while doing paper and computer work. Also, one bulb is noticeably much brighter than the other three, which is due to the bulb itself and not the light socket. Lastly, at one point I turned on the light switch and all four bulbs flickered very dimly and wouldn't respond to the dimmer switch. I shut it off and waited a few seconds before turning it back on, at which point it worked. This issue hasn't come up again, but it was only two days ago. I'm not sure how these will fare over time, but given the shaky performance so far, I don't plan on buying more for the rest of the house- there better brands out there such as Cree and Feit, which I'll look into next.Additional comments after using these for several months- They’ve been holding up fine, but 3 out of 10 times I flip on the switch, all four lights flicker dimly. I need to turn the switch off and then on again to get the lights to go on fully. It’s a bit annoying, but I could live with it. Also, one of the four lights are noticeable dimmer than the the other three. So only have installed within the last week but the brightness and color purity is such an upgrade to the dismal lighting we had before.Really like the color of white light they give off.Very happy with the lights so far, but not long enough to judge the longevity of the lights. These are very nice bulbs, a beautiful color temperature for indoors. But, of the 8 bulbs I purchased, one bulb turns off after 4 minutes of use. Cools (?) and then starts the cycle again. Annoying.UPDATE: Bioluz replaced the failed bulb under warranty with one that was tested by hand. I am impressed. Will purchase again. My Bioluz LED ceiling floods (40W, 3000K) have been operating for about 3 months now and I m pleased with them. Build quality appears to be excellent. Although one bulb (of 8) failed in about two months, Bioluz replaced it the same day I asked via email, and did not require return of the failed bulb, only its lot number. Painless and fast. Every manufacturer has an occasional failure; the key is whether they stand by the product. Bioluz does.
