I was worried about buying these but I needed something to keep a heron away from my pond. They arrived tonight and I was pleasantly surprised. They were both very pretty and seem to be very sturdy. I placed them outside but didn't use the provided yard pegs yet but u know they will cone I handy when I pick the permanent place for them to go.Nicely put together, however do yourself a favor and immediately purchase Rustoleum Clear! If you're using these outdoors, they WILL rust. Once I lightly brushed off the rust and sprayed them with Rustoleum Clear they've been holding up well. They are sturdy. Cute, but it is a little costly.I used them In my flower bed.Product is very sturdy, colors are beautiful. I used 3 rebar stakes on each bird, as we have a lot of wind. These metal cranes are sturdy and well made. Very happy with them.I was very surprised at the quality of these. They are just as good as the $ 200.00 ones I was looking at.Theses are pretty, made a nice addition to my yard. Craftsmanship is not great. I had to send the 1st set back as the legs to one would not attach. Nice height , and color, abit expensive fore what they are.PROS:* Came packaged well with no damage* They look great at a distance* Feathers look nice* The oval support bracket attached to the outside of the wings (as shown in the vendor's pictures) were not visible on the outside of mine, thank goodness. It appears the vendor may have mounted the wings backwards in their photo.CONS:* "Cyan" should be described as "Turquoise" as you can see (pic of head)* Heads have very little detail (pic)* Paint job appears uneven and mass produced. However, some people may like that look. For $100 I expected more detail.* Had an issue with the wing attachment holes being too big and misaligned for the wing posts to seat tightly (pic). As a result, the posts are loose in the tube and the wings tilt backwards. I could superglue them in but that will keep me from ever disassembling them.I would say they are worth about $70, not $100. I hope this feedback helps them produce a higher quality product.Update: After just a few weeks they are RUSTING pretty bad. Suggest spraying them with sealant prior to exposing them to the elements!
