New siding meant a new porch light! I'm not a fan of the "classic" finial look and wanted something a bit more modern. This light looks neat and clean, but the round glass makes it less blocky. It was so easy to install (just a couple screws and twisting wires together) and it feels sturdy. The bronze is dark, but richer than a basic black.The light is attractive and is easy to install, but I find it very odd that there is absolutely no manufacturer or warranty information provided. Nowhere (not on the box or on the single instruction sheet) does it say Redeast - which is how it it is listed on Amazon. There is no address or phone number for the company or its distributor. China is stamped on the box. I’m attaching a photo of the one sided instruction sheet that comes with this anonymous light so you can see what little info is provided. This could be a problem if you have a question or need a part.These are OK but not quite the quality I was hoping for.I just put 8 of these on my house, they look great! I hope they continue to look great for years to come. Easy to install too.If you wanna update your outside lighting then I highly suggest this itemIt looks wonderful over my front double doors. i just ordered a smaller version for near my garage.We could not believe how easy they were to install. The light we nicer than the picture, very heavy duty. Only problem 2 weeks after we put them up we had hail the size of base balls and one of the glass pieces got broken. Time to order another one. Love them!!
